Disabled Explorers WebsiteObservation Van
This assembly was designed with over 4 1/2 feet of forward and back travel down the center of a full size van converted for surveillance/reconnaissance. The base is capable of a manual swivel release with almost a full 360 degrees of rotation.
Flight Simulator
When requested to develop a base capable of a high weight tolerance and specific travel parameters, this prototype was created. Designed to fit to very specific seating requirements, the top plate features the necessary components to secure the larger seats used in aircraft.
Built for a disabled fisherman with the unique requirements of running stern to bow of his fishing boat, this base design had the added challenge of carefully placing drill locations so as not to compromise the sea-worthiness of the vessel. The resulting prototype featured over 9 feet of travel with the minimal amount of drilling necessary to secure the base within the boat.
